Activating Strategies:
  • Have students log into their folder on the network drive and ask about their file organization strategies.

Path statement, extension, folder, drive, filename
Teaching Strategies and Distributed Guided Practice/Summarizing Prompts:
  • Students use the file management lab worksheet to move files around and complete a path statement.
  • Students sort all the files in their network drive and create folders for other classes.
